National Geographic Men’s NG710GKSG Deep Blue Dive Chronograph Watch Review

I bought this watch from a famous deal-a-day website. Even though I got a great deal, it is well worth the retail price. The quality is outstanding! I have medium sized arms/wrists/hands and this watch is on the big end of what I’m comfortable wearing. Considering the overall size of the watch, the band is a bit small. The band is polyeurathene – not the most comfortable, but it looks easy to change if you so desire.

The clasp around the crown snaps at the bottom (the top bolt is a hinge). It then swivels out of the way to provide access to the crown.

The other two side buttons control the chronograph. The chronograph use the second hand and a dedicated minute hand (left subdial). The right subdial is a 24 hour hand.

Overall, it is an amazing watch. A bit on the heavy side, but I really enjoy it.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.
